  • The submission was prepared in accordance with the journal's official style. No changes were made to the general formatting.

Research articles

This section publishes original research and applied research articles in the field of applied computer science, information systems, and software engineering. Submissions should present a clear research problem, appropriate methodology, and well-supported results.

Manuscripts submitted to this section undergo a double-blind peer review process and are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

Articles should be written in English, follow the IEEE reference style, and comply with the journal’s formatting and ethical guidelines.

All accepted articles are published in open access and assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) at the article level.

Datasets

This section publishes curated datasets relevant to research and applications in applied computer science and information systems. Submissions must include a comprehensive dataset description covering data collection methodology, structure, formats, and potential reuse scenarios.

Dataset submissions are subject to the same double-blind peer review process as all other journal sections. Reviewers evaluate the quality, completeness, documentation, reusability, and ethical compliance of the datasets.

Authors are required to provide persistent access to the dataset through a trusted repository and to include appropriate licensing information.

Accepted dataset articles are published in open access and assigned an article-level DOI.

Master’s Thesis Reports

This section publishes condensed and peer-reviewed reports derived from defended master’s theses. Submissions should summarize the thesis objectives, methodology, key results, and contribution, while maintaining a concise journal-style format.

Manuscripts submitted to this section undergo the same double-blind peer review process as other sections of the journal and are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

All submissions must be written in English, follow the IEEE reference style, and comply with the journal’s publication ethics.

Upon acceptance, articles are published in open access and assigned an article-level DOI.

Engineering Reports

This section is dedicated to peer-reviewed engineering project reports describing the design, implementation, and evaluation of software systems and applied IT solutions. Submissions may be based on course projects or engineering theses.

Although the structure of engineering reports may differ from traditional research articles, all submissions are subject to the same double-blind peer review process and quality standards as other journal sections.

Reports must be prepared in English, use the IEEE reference style, and clearly document system architecture, implementation decisions, and validation results.

Accepted reports are published in open access and receive an article-level DOI.
