Privacy Statement

The Journal of Information Systems Development (ISD) is published by the Department of Applied Informatics, Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
Personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), applicable national laws, and the University's internal data protection policies.

Personal data collected through the journal website is used solely for the purposes of scholarly publishing, including manuscript submission, peer review, editorial communication, publication, indexing, and archiving.

Depending on the user's role (author, reviewer, or editor), the processed data may include the user's name, affiliation, email address, ORCID identifier (if provided), and manuscript-related metadata. Special categories of personal data are not processed.

Access to personal data is limited to authorized editorial and administrative users. Personal data may be disclosed to indexing services, DOI registration agencies, and archiving or preservation services, where necessary for publication and dissemination. Data are not used for marketing or commercial purposes.

Personal data are retained for as long as necessary to ensure the integrity and continuity of the scholarly record. Published articles and their metadata form part of the permanent academic record.

Data subjects have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or object to the processing of their personal data, and to withdraw consent where applicable. Requests concerning personal data protection should be addressed to the University's Data Protection Officer.
