About the Journal

The Journal of Information Systems Development (ISD) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and project-based contributions in the field of Applied Computer Science. The journal primarily serves undergraduate and graduate students of Applied Computer Science at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, while also welcoming submissions from early-career and young researchers from other institutions.

ISD provides a formal and supportive publication venue for intermediate projects, engineering theses, capstone projects, and applied research outcomes. Through a structured peer-review process, the journal aims not only to ensure academic quality but also to offer constructive feedback that supports authors in developing research methodology, academic writing skills, and ethical research practices.

By bridging academic education with professional scholarly communication, ISD aims to support emerging researchers, foster engagement with applied research, and provide a meaningful first step into the academic publishing ecosystem.
